As mentioned above, I pop out the springs a cut off some of the coil...takes very little to reduce the ejection oomph.

I suspect there is a limit but Berettas are somewhat easy guns with which to fiddle.

Ah, ok...I would fall for whichever seemed to call to me.

A Model 12 16 gauge can be a sweet gun and any issues discovered can normally be resolved.
I did find that my 50s Model 12 16 gauge balked a bit on Estate shells.....have fun with whichever one you choose.

The bell is what it says....how well you hear it depends upon your own hearing,high or low tones, the cover and the weather and the dog wearing it. I use one of them.....I also use a couple Flewelling bells.....they are smaller but a nicer tone, to me...nearing 66 with hearing issues, I pick the bel...

Chicken layer pellets or the like.....I don’t worry about the amount of feed/bird...water is good....they do fine and dandy as they are, essentially, used to living under bridges.
No doubt tho they would like an owner who treats.

I found a boxed #220 conibear set and bacon-baited on a Kansas WIHA...about 50 yards from the pull off parking area in some pines. A 14 mo. setter pup was down....I got there before her. To answer the question...yes, moderately irrational re traps. Porkies can be trained for and wolves during the Fall in most areas are not an issue.....easy to hate tho, eh? Naturally, anecdotes tend to color the norm as a fit for everyone....too bad that. However, in no way are traps part of hunting...

AyAs have been around for a good spell.....seems like Jack O'Connor may have owned one. :?: Regardless, be they boxlocks or sidelocks, AyAs are considered ok+....I believe the sidelocks are on the H&H action pattern. Around about 2005-ish the AyA #2 was considered the go-to work gun in the uplands.....
