I use it as a recall. If you blow a whistle or yell to recall a dog while you are hunting wild pheasants---they'll blow out of there before you even get close :roll: The tone works good as a low volumn recall that only the dog can hear.

Make sure dog is micro-chipped and has a collar with your name and CELL PHONE number on it. Also if you are going to hunt, make sure you take rabies certificate and shot records---some states require dogs to be current in order to hunt. Don't use heat lamp. Friends dog knocked it loose and it lite flat on the dog house floor. Friend came home to a blazing dog house---the pen was big enough for his dog to get away from the fire so it ended okay.

You can run both days on a 2 day event so you can get a qualifing score each day. The numbers in eastern NE are way way down(in my area about 1/10 what it was last year). If you are thinking about Nebraska, you'd better stick to the SW part of the state this year. Hope you find a good place with birds --- SD or ND would be your best bet :roll:
