I think you need to find an area that your pup can run off leash and not get in trouble. JMHO... Collar condition quickly as your pup will soon outgrow your leash...

On the dog park issue. I have seen articles recently of some sick people putting tack nails in moist treats/ cheese/ raw fish/ anything your dog would find apealing and leaving them around public dog parks. Dont ask me why this happens no one ever knows... just be careful!
