Re: Soooooo..what is wrong w/ AKC Hunt Tests
The competition is already pretty tough in the non-competitive events without having scores published, with all the first, only, youngest, oldest, least, most, etc brags folks make about their dogs :D I saw a guy in junior hunter nearly pull a judge off his horse yelling "What do you mean giving my...

Re: Soooooo..what is wrong w/ AKC Hunt Tests
One of the things that bothers me, at least from a CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) perspective, is the disparity in ability between dogs that have the same title, and how difficult it is to find information on the testing. You could have one dog that passed all its legs it entered, with high 90's in eac...

Which is the recommend tool for basic obedience? In addition to field work & some hunting, we do obedience with both our dogs (one is a CDX working on UD; the other is CGC working on CD). With the pollen count very high lately, mine get a slight yellow discharge. All. But its not coming back that quickly just sort of daily. They do it every year at this time of year. I have used the 10% fenbendazole dewormer, Safeguard for worming in between for years also. It is the exact same product as Panacur for dogs. As with the ivermectin it will probably go out of date before you use it all. I think I paid right at 100 for a quart. I like the liquid products We have als...

Iverhart Plus Recall -- what are you using instead?
We've been using the Iverhart Plus (ivermectin & pyrantel), but due to the recent recall, it's not available right now. What are people using for heartworm prevention? I know many of you with kennels & a lot of dogs use injectable ivermectin, but we really don't want to get into that whole process. ...

Is that where the poutine comes from? the real stuff.
