I too didn't like the beep part of his intro, so I asked him about it in a comment on Youtube. He answered and I'm sure it could help with backing and such. The beep is no different from saying "whoa" if you think about it. Of course, no wild birds are going to beep first, but then wild birds don't ...

At 7 months, your pup is probably done teething. My ES is 6 months and completely done. Just have a look in his mouth. It's pretty easy to tell the bright white and much larger adult teeth from the puppy teeth. Have a vet or someone more knowledgeable check for you if you're not sure. I will say tha...

Horse salve question
I've got a friend on another forum who has posed a question nobody seems to know the answer to, so I thought I'd try it here. He says that he had an accident and dropped a chunk of concrete on his foot years back, and pretty well ripped his toenail off. An old timer, who's since passed away gave him...

My other post on this thread was tongue in cheek, but on a more serious note, of course mules could do field trials. I'm a bit curious what ya'll think about a pup prizing. My 16 week old ES male is turning out to be a fair natural retriever, although, I wouldn't call his retrieving desire to be on par with the labs that I've had.
