Yes, the water looked very nice. Wish I could show the picture on the Garmin of the duck search my male put down. It was amazing.

This is a very nice place to train and test. I will be running my female here for the Oberlaender in October.

Took a drive up to Hugo, Mn to meet with some friends and get some dog training in. I feel fortunate to have good and knowledgeable people to train with. I haven't heard a lot about them. Are they good both upland and waterfowl hunting dogs? Do they have good longetivity and how big do they usually get? I know it isnt an original name, but Max is a very powerful male name and I love it. But, you only get to use it once. I never name a dog with the same name of a deceased dog. It is bad Mojo.

Cant help you, But I am bummed for you. I like my birds and it would bum me out that I lost the babies. I am bummed now because we have passed the hatch date and no hatch. :( Not sure how long to wait before I call it a loss.

Indeed, there is noting fun about F.F.. I am on my second dog and feel pretty lost at times. You take steps forward and 50 backwards. But you are right. When the light comes on, it is great!
It does build a better relationship with the dog too...........as long as everything is fair.
