i give all my own shots i buy cutter brand & use cattle ivermecton for heartworms
i hunted with a vet & he used to ask me to bring dogs in at no charge to double check for heartworms & they were always clean but i do pay for them to do rabies as i cross state lines for hunting trips

i live in FLORIDA U.S.A.
i usally shoot a few woodcocks while im out quail hunting.
they usually hang around same cover as our subspecies of the eastern bobwhite quail ie. cypress tree bay heads,its hit or miss

congrats phill, hey just want to say TEX is doing well & is settling in just fine, took tex out a few weeks ago & shot a few pen raised birds for him,he did a fine job holding the birds cant wait to get on some wild birds this season !! I bred TEX to my female should have pups this time next month
