I have never used a beeper collar but the solution appears to be very simple. Weight the collar and when the beeper is on the top, add enough of a lead weight on the bottom to keef it there. The inside floor got a little surface rust so I just bought horse stall mats and cut them to fit in the bottom. I cut mats for mine also but condensation under the mat still caused the floor to rust. I took one of the floors to a sheet metal shop and had then make me three out of stainless steel. I...

I've had trouble with the plug and/or the wire having an intermittent open. The wire gauge is pretty small so it won't take much abuse. I replaced it with a phono cable from radio shack that has the same type plug-in connector. So far I've repaired three out of four launchers.
