I have never used a beeper collar but the solution appears to be very simple. Weight the collar and when the beeper is on the top, add enough of a lead weight on the bottom to keef it there. I'd try just enough to be a bit heavier than the beeper. Maybe enough to match the weight of the collar and ...

I've had trouble with the plug and/or the wire having an intermittent open. The wire gauge is pretty small so it won't take much abuse. I replaced it with a phono cable from radio shack that has the same type plug-in connector. So far I've repaired three out of four launchers.

My mentor always said "throw away the short points, they're worthless" so I do. I just use the long ones. Never had issues with them not working. I hunt all short haired dogs. +1 on the long prongs. Quit using the short ones a long time ago, got tired of the inconsistent stimulations. The collar st...
