average water requirements would be 1 oz per pound of body weight per day. If hes drinking more more than 120% of that in a days time, consistently (assuming hes not exercising a lot or its hot), I would get him checked out. that being said, sometimes puppies just like to drink water...

nothing that does it all, but products like Trifexis and Adantage-Multi will prevent fleas, heartworms, and most intestinal parasites. For my clients that need to worry about ticks I usually recommend Interceptor (for heartworms and intestinal worms) along with Nexgard (for fleas and ticks). Seresto...

Dog Dr. Why do you say I am not going to believe what the information I get. I do not know about titers that is why I asked. Dry discolored coat along with sloppy stools make me think of whipworms. You can't see them in the stools, so take a fecal sample to your vet for an exam. would be worst case scenario, but almost sounds like EPI to me. Young dog for it in my experience, but you might mention it to your vet. That's assuming your 100% sure hes not wormy.

if they have been vaccinated at all, the chances of an older dog getting sick with parvo is very slim. Are you sure its parvo?? the vet should be able to rule that in or out in about 5 min.

Yes, spaying before first heat will reduce chance of mammary cancer by something like 97 Percent. But what is the incidence of mammary cancer anyway? No product will kill the fleas in the corner... They have to get on the dog to be exposed to the pesticide. Temps are starting to drop in many places, fleas are looking for a warm food supply for the winter.

arenus.com/steadfast-canine/ We have a lot of success with this product. Dont know why its better than the other joint supplements, but it has been for us. In my experience, many dogs no longer require pain meds after a few weeks of the steadfast. Clients come back for more, to me that says volumes.

only problem with low blood sugar is that most of the time the dog is fine when the vet pulls the blood sample, so it doesnt show up on the bloodwork. you would need to get a blood sample when the dog is acting lethargic/drunk etc. I cant remember how old you said the dog was, but i have seen young ...

Apparently the answer is yes, some dogs will grow out of it. The original dog in question no longer has a problem and is doing great.
