That last storm that hit us. We ended up with 2 inches of ice and the 6 inches of snow in a 24 hr period, the hunting was brutal on the dogs pads and belly. I only hunted him for 30 min. one day and an hour this past weekend, now its 45 and raining, what a mess.

You can find all of the requirements for the pointing breeds on the AKC site. A brief description is that there are 3 levels. JH= Junior Hunter, SH = Senior Hunter, MH = Master Hunter. For Junior the dogs must show they want to hunt and then they have a bird field in which they need to establish but...

As stated before the Remington 870. I like the synthetic because at some point it will double as a boat oar. Ha. There is a reason it has been around so long. Never shot the benelli, I would reccomend a Beretta, very nice affordable, pretty smooth gun as well.

I agree with Ezzy, Gmc's at one time were the heavy duty series for general motors, ie, Farm trucks, service trucks, delivery etc... As far as I see it nowadays it is just a marketing tool for them. I have no idea how one is built versus the other exactly.

Here are some training pics with Jack, they were not the best scenting conditions and the birds were moving a little. You can see the quail in the first pic about 3 feet infront of Jack walking around. He initially hit it at about 10 yds off, and the bird when trying to flush walked in front of him ...

Yea Brittt you are right, the clorsulon sp? is made for fluke worms in cattle. I believe that is what can be fatal to dogs. I have used just reg ivomec and have had no problems at all. It should do for our needs.

Let me add something here, Pedigrees are only as good as the dog you are breeding to.
