Jon, Do not use Ivomec Plus! Use Ivomec Injection for Cattle and Swine 1% Sterile Solution . Be sure to check the expiration date because a bottle should last you a couple of years. Find an 1 ml insuline syringe and an 18 or 20 gauge needle. Draw .1 ml per 10 lbs of dog weight ( .6 ml for a 60 lb do...

In the summer, I feed about half the portion that I feed in the winter. Here is a link to some information regarding pr...

If the lepto vaccine ties up a pups (<12-weeks) immune system, chances are the pup will not be protected from any part of the vaccine ( parvo, distemper, carona, etc....). At 12 weeks, the lepto vaccine is okay, but I have seen some pretty bad reactions so I always keep epi handy in case of emergenc...

This is the vaccination schedule that I use: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/pic/article.cfm?aid=85 I don't know the specifics, but I have read that the lepto vaccine ties up the puppies immune system if given before 12 weeks of age. I can't imagine a breeder vaccinating a pup without consulting a vet...
