Sounds like a bargain - thanks for sharing!

One of ours had a problem with motion sickness until she was about 5. We would limit food & water before travel on short trips. She got Dramamine on longer rides and also went without breakfast. She seems to have outgrown it, and now is fine. Also, at my wife's insistence (she says it was partly my ...

CZ

CZ makes very good rifles too. I bought a 452 Varmint in .22lr a couple of years ago, and with only a few minor tweaks shoots amazingly tight groups for a factory gun.

I've had my eye on the CZ o/u's too, just love those doubles! You mind telling what your final sale price was?

A friend of mine was just telling me about a Weim he had many years ago. It was never trained beyond basic obedience, but that dog would hunt & figured out how to retrieve to hand on his own. He was telling me there was one spot on public land near him that had a big swamp next to one of the parking...

NJ GSP wrote Edit: And I also would love a Remington 1100 classic field in 16 gauge. (I have a thing for the 16 gauge, shoots like a 12, recoils like a 20. I don't know why it isn't more popular!) The reason it's not more popular is because it's a 16 gauge on a 12 gauge frame. If they would have ma...

food

We feed our dogs the Kirkland brand premium food from Costco. We had our vet check it out, and she said it was just as good as the premium brands. The lamb & rice is going for about $17-18 per bag. When we had six BIG dogs and were going though 40-50 pounds a week, half the price was a good incentiv...

Hi folks, I'm new here. I'm in northern NJ, 39, married for 11 years to a woman who is as big a dog nut as I am. I rescued a GSP back in 2001. He had been starved nearly to death. He weighed 35 pounds when he was rescued, and when I got him healthy again he was a trim but solid 75 pounds. He had hug...

Hi guys, new here. I'm having a great time reading all these posts about some of my favorite things: dogs & hunting, and learning a lot too. So I thought I'd pitch in & tell you about my favorite bird guns. I have a Remington Sportsman 48 16 ga. which I use most of the time. I've killed a lot of bir...
