It can be administered daily, but the profession is trending to more judicious use and supplementing it with other medications, like tramadol, so that it can be given less often. Not all vets are on board with this practice, for sure. Many will keep prescribing it as long as the dog is comfortable....

My #1 GSP was sired by Walnut Hill's Fritz; my #2 GSP is 100% Walnut Hill (he is basically a nephew of #1). Take a look locally for some obedience clubs. Start with the basics and move up from there. What you learn in the classes will give you a foundation to build upon when it comes to more specific field commands like "whoah".
