Lost a PP to bloat. It was very bad. Not only feeding before activity, but right after can be problematic. My dog was fed 1 hour after hunt and then bloated.

I've had 2 do the same thing. Send them back. If your in a rush to get them, they'll send you a new one...charge your card and then credit you back when they get your defective collar. They gave me 2 new collars, not rebuilds in the exchange (so they told me).

Get the dog's thyroid checked. Losing hair on the tail is a common early sign of hypothyroidism (low thyroid). Is the darkening of the skin just in that area? Yes...this is the only area effected. Losing hair on tail in one spot
My 10 mnth old DD has a spot on his tail where he's lost hair. Any thoughts? Doesn't do enough kennel time to rub it off. Doesn't look like its getting worse or better in past week.

Had my pup out today hunting chukar. He tore one of his nails off. Nothing hanging at all.....broke off right at the toe. Read the above...cleaned with warm water....antiseptic soap....triple antibiotic ointment...wrapped and booted the foot. Should I worry about getting him on antibiotics right awa...

Appreciate the responses. wow, never knew outdoor marking was such an issue with male dog owners. Just housebreak the dog and tell him no when he hikes his leg on outdoor items you dont want. I normally buy whole corn and milo. Mix it up and good to go. Get 50lb bags of each for close to the same price as 1 bag of pigeon mix. This is for homers I've had for a long time.

I have the walkydog and also a Diggler Scooter. As mentioned, use a harness. I like that you can adjust the "leash" on the walkydog so there's nothing dragging or hanging in the way and you can keep the dog right next to you.
