My husband repairs tubs for a living here in OK. He said if you can tell us the brand of the tub, he can give you a phone number of someone to repair the tub.

My husband really likes The Old Man and the Boy by Robert Ruark. Although this is not about a particular gun dog,it was a great story about a grandfather teaching his grandson about hunting and life. When my kids were younger I read this one aloud to them, and they all enjoyed it, too.

We used to also have a parakeet or two around our other GSP. It was basically the same experience as you. The dog would finally leave him alone, but became very interested in the bird when he tried to fly in his cage. Really never had a problem though.
