@ 4 mos, Zoomie was all charge when he saw birds. Now, @ 7 mos, he takes his time, is much more deliberate, & points alot more. All this w/out me uttering a word, & no cc or ecollar. I just let him go! He'll wise up on his own, if you let him.

Indoors for my boys. The "old man" has the run of the house. The pup is crated when we sleep or leave. Sometimes I let them lounge in the backyard (6 foot fence).

Try the AKC toys from Target. Zoomie does his best to "pluck" them, & they hold up pretty well! He's on his second toy pheasant (the first one finally lost his head after 4 months). I think the package has a gsp on it.

Why are diffferent breeds' tails docked @ different lengths?
My V's are docked 1/3 to 1/2 length, gsp's are docked 3/4?, & britts are left w/ tiny little nubs.
