Kennel Sizing for Vehicles
Folks,
I am looking for a kennel for the back of a Ford Escape. It is a company vehicle and may be switching to a RAV4. Looking for a site for sizes. I have been using a larger crate and putting down the back seat but would rather not mess with that hassle.

Another tip I think I might of gotten on here from a member who is no longer with us...if dog is treat crazy. By a bag of Cheetos and start throwing in shallow water. As their confidence builds move the treats further out.

Totally fell into this but I have had incredible luck with goslings! Dog starts swimming after them and they are not big enough to fly so flitter just ahead of the dog on the water! Dog won't want to stop.

Regarding the collar itself. I have had great luck with a GunDog Supply they have K-9 Komfort Tuffflex 3/4" I grounded them down and ran the throw. Re: Puppy intro to quail - let them catch or no
Good thoughts on the blood on bird. How do you go about conditioning them to the bloody bird without dampering their want to fetch a bird if they picked up a nonbloody one? Or do you just only train with birds that have blood scent and they just naturally will learn that way? [/quote] Completely sto...

Re: Puppy intro to quail - let them catch or no
Tease the pup yes but never catch. If a pup is going to "catch" it should be shot before hand. Different scent with blood on bird. My opinion dog should not even retrieve a dead bird without blood scent on it. Not really my idea just something Perfection Kennels is big on and when you think about th...

The only thing I would add to all the good advice here is to train your family too. Pups do not understand empathy. It was fashionable to yip when bitten for a while but as discussed that is not what Momma would do. No soothing the dog or trying to get it "to understand" it shouldn't bite....it just...
