I have stiched up a lot of wounds on dogs and that one looks like a good sized one looks like it could have been ice cut good luck she sould heal up in no time just keep her from chewing on the stiches and keep them clean she will want to start chewing in about a week

I think that your pup at nine months is doing great just keep doing what you are doing and let the pup have fun keep the pup in birds and it will learn more then any words can teach have fun and good luck with your pup

I have also used lariat rope with good results it is stiff and dont get tangeled just a bit pricey to buy new @ 50 to 60 for 25 ft

Neither one will be nuetered? Is that because your planning on breeding them down the line? Why would you breed a fighter? Guess that would be one more litter out of two dogs breeding with no regard to genetics, temperament, biddability, conformation, etc. Good luck...... :roll: i agree but IMO

i used to feed diamond and found that the dogs ate it well but stols were soft and lots of it they would eat and crap in five min i switched to feed from my local feed store and much better and cheaper to boot

i cant say in bird dog breeding programs but i would breed my hounds 4 to 5 times after that i would retire them IMO i think its to hard on them to welp more then that

first of all are you flying to sc or are you just sending the dogs
if you are flying there is no way the air line can not take your dogs if you do the paper work

i would have to say that is pretty much how i feel If its made of fiberglass, I'd be out. There's no way I'd spend the kinda coin you're going to spend on a dog trailer, to have it chewed up, or a hole knocked in it. if you have a GPS you can go online and download all wma areas in SD its nice they are color coded and works well to find them small walkins that are not hunted hard

i have never had my dog point a moose but on the kansas youth hunt he pointed and chased a nice white tail buck and last year we were in south dakota and he pointed a porcupine that one didnt end up well for him with a face full of quils

i agree if the pup bumps the bird but if the pup has not and is just hunting or running around the shot might and i said might scare the pup once again this is JMO. i am not a trainer but it just makes sence a six month old pup and the hunter bumpin the birds not the dog could as i said could cause ...

well took my boy out this morning for the youth opener hunted 2 hours covered 5 miles of bottom ground no birds came home went out to were we have been training

one other thing yoou can do is get a clock that ticks put it in the creat under something so he/she cant chew it up the ticking sound seems to calm them down but as stated before just dont interact with the pup when its crying
