I have talked with some trainers that will not use the lyme shot because after taking it you can not use a lyme test to see if the dog has it, as they will alway test positive. I feed once a day, I find I can almost set a schedule by my dogs bowel movements and when traveling for hunting alot I find the one feeding at the end of the day doesn't deter from the hunt.

IMHO there is no harder bird to hunt then Grouse.... Is it safe to say you are in WI, MN or MI? Grouse get even tuffer in lean years.
