Re: LUCK OF THE DRAW RIP.

I was fortunate enough to have hunted with Lucky many, many times. He was such a hard driven dog with one of those very unique personalities. I thought so much of him I have a picture of him on my locker at work. He had everything you want in a birddog and he'll be missed. As mentioned before he gav...

Why does anyone care if a gsp is white and orange. If both parents are papered the pups should be registered. A good solid birddog is a good solid birddog regardless of the color and shouldn't be tossed aside or excluded from a breeding program if there ability is the desired trait that you want pas...

Naming rights, breeding rights, etc... are the same as purchase price. If the price is higher than you want to pay, don't buy the pup. If the breeder wants to name the pup, and you don't like that, don't buy the pup. If the breeder wants to use the pup for future breeding, and you don't like that, ...

Fair enough Cj. I'm also thinking from a competition stand point. I make Ch with one of my dogs and it has anothers kennel name in front of it. So, if a person didn't know better they would think the kennel trained, handled, and championed out the dog by looking at the pedigree. Mis-representation a...

Seems like a dumb questiuon (and concern) that keeps coming up. I disagree. I feel quite strongly that the breeder has zero right to name someone elses pup and they also have an ego problem as well. Breeding dogs is not difficult if you have some pedigree and performance knowledge. There are alot o...

I think that you should buy a broke or very well started dog. Make sure the seller shows you the dog in the field pointing and holding birds and he shoots them for you. You would also want to see the dog back and retrieve.

It may be a malfunction in the collar. Check it on yourself and let us know. The collar on the 1 setting should not make any dog cower, it should just tickle or tingle a little.
