Yup. You said it. Soft and stubborn. Gah! I think we will wait on the FF thing. If we are upstairs in the game room where their crates are, she will throw her stuffed octopus or basically anything you throw and she will play with it and bring it to you. She does have a VERY soft mouth and immediatel...

This is stang's wife on my own name now. Yes, you pretty much hit the nail on the head. I have used a dressage whip (similar concept to what you mentioned) and she acts like you are killing her. Seriously, you can look at her mean and shes let out a HUGE yelp like you are beating the chit out of her...

Quinn is so cute! My boarders horse is a SSH who is black and white but he doesnt gait. I love their minds though. So laid back. I am hoping Rex will AT LEAST hit a FULL 16.2 and hopefully closer to 16.3-17h. Right now he is in the "growing sideways" stage. Hopefully he will keep going up. His dam i...

It has been a while since hubby (subatomicstang) and I have been on the boards. Just wanted to pop in and say hi and share some pics. First, we are finally able to let the pigeons fly free! Yes it was a nice stroll. A little cool but it was nice b/c as you kept up the pace with the dogs, you got a little warm, and the temp kept you pretty cool. This is a bit off topic, but I couldn't help but notice. I think the better question would have been: What do *you* personally use the momentary correction for on your e-collar? What do *you* personally believe the benefit is to having a unit that has the momentary option? It is not really about getting training advise as we already have the Perfect DVD s...

Have you guys ever seen the dog whisperer on Natgeo? He gets his pack of dogs and they pull him while he is on roller blades. Looks like fun! lol Of course, those arent hunting dogs.

Really depends on what discipline of riding you are looking at. In the halter and QH rings, the "in" thing is the big, tank bodies with the TINNNNY little feet and head. To get the tiny feet, you need to breed for smaller bone. However, if you look at the english disciplines, like dressage and hunte...
