What do we need for our first hunt test?
We are going to run our 6 month old in a junior hunt this weekend. What all do we need for this? Is there a specific dress code? If someone could give me a run down of what we should wear what if any special collars leads? guns ? Whatever i need to have.

Randy - It has a half mile range and a dial intensity changer...those are two things I do not like. A half mile range sounds like a lot, but that is a half mile under ideal conditions. In cover or in hilly terrain that range can drop dramatically. I do not like rotary dials for a bunch or reasons. ...

YEah we just got our first two eggs after 4 days of having the pigeons, and noticed the female was sitting at night and there was no male sitting at day so after candling the eggs are no good. hopefully they will lay some more.

IS an e collar and a invisible fence a bad thing if both used on same dog? I am thinking of getting invisible fence to barrier our work shed so the dogs wont get into things. Now is the correction in the e collar the same as the invisible fence collar ? Will they get confused ?

12 by 6 ft kennel. I understand the whole misuseing of these devices and to only use them for commands you know they know. I suppose it would be great to be able to get their attention when they arent right in your hand.

I think when we first fly them ill just send out 2 so in case they keep going ill still have 4 more. But maybe they will do some mateing and lay some eggs before long. Is there anything I need to do like put on some barry white or maybe an ambiance light? haha

If you use a 4ft length of 4 inch PVC with the nipple about 6 inches of the floor you really don't need an addition resevour(sp). We used a 50 gallon drum secured to the joists in our barn outside of the quail pen. We then ran a flexible rubber hose from the 50 gallon drum thru a small hole in the wall into the quail pen to our automatic waterers (they weren't nipple waterers). And it worked great!
