oes anybody have a versatile breed that hunts waterfowl in below zero weather I have a german longhair that handles fall weather fine I just wonder if she is tough enough to handle tough winter hunting

I live in Great Falls about 60 miles south. there are some very good block managment places to hunt private land very tough to get on this time of year. talk to Diane Boyd at fish and game she will steer you the right way.

my german longhair does not seem to like ducks she picked up a dead teal after the hunt but was not very excited about it she is a good retriever and loves all uplands including doves and sage hens would appreciate any advice.
