Hello folks,
Anyone in NW MO been out to bilby yet? Went a couple days ago and didn't see much. Didn't know if I'm alone on that or if others are seeing that same thing.

Hello wise ones, I'm looking at e collars and my price range says either a Sportdog brand or a Garmin. Both have similar features/ range so I'm wanting to know opinions on customer support/ service of the companies. I've had a good luck a while ago with Sportdog brand but that's been a decade ago so...

Anything coming up this summer?
Trying to get the wife talked into adding a birddog pup this summer. Its getting close to happening but want to wait until after our vacation in late june. Wanting to get a GSP or GWP but the limiting factor is price. $300 is probably my limit because of the cost of the training stuff I'd want to ad...

Preparing for new dog
Hello all, After a few years without a birddog I'm in the early steps of planning to get my next birddog. In the past I have had a brittany and then I had a GSP. I'm definitely a pointing dog guy. I am leaning toward a vizsla or a wirehaired griff. After the small amount of research I have done I th...

I have a CZ something or other (mind just went blank). its as cheap as they come but I haven't had any trouble with it and when I drop it and it gets scratched I'm not too concerned. It also let me spend more money on training birds, equipment, etc. Want to say it was right at $400.

My gsp's dew claws are gone. I got her that way but i think its better to take them off on purpose when they are young then have one or more come off during hunting trip and cause a bigger problem/ ruin trip. Just my 2 cents.

Hey, I have a GSP that's in inside dog, she's great with my two kids (5 and 1.5). The youngest spends a good part of the evening pulling on her ears, his version of petting, and she loves it. He also sits on her fairly regularly. Her range is at most 100 yards in thin cover and 30-40 in thick cover....
