It's to easy to acquire a pup that will hold birds for the gun at 5-8 months. Why waist your time with something that doesn't? That's my opinion. There is far to many things to train a good pointing dog to do, pointing shouldn't be one of them.

Maybe people live with the sacrifices they or their loved one made everyday. Maybe they come onto a GUN DOG forum to talk about gun dogs to get away from reality for just a few minutes each day and discuss something that brings them joy. So to say nobody cares I feel is a little uncalled for.

Kenetrek is a helluva boot. I wore 1 pair out pretty quick, stitching busted loose, easy fix. So comfortable got another pair and they have lasted 3x longer. Got to take care of your feet.
