Re: Question on past NFC's as stud dogs
Maybe there is a correlation with winning the National with the rumors you've heard............... If there seems to be a common denominator................but if that's the game you want to breed for, that's probably who you want to breed to. Nobody spreads rumors about the losers.

It's to easy to acquire a pup that will hold birds for the gun at 5-8 months. Why waist your time with something that doesn't? That's my opinion. There is far to many things to train a good pointing dog to do, pointing shouldn't be one of them.

No, I've had dogs microchipped and never saw a vet run the scanner over them. Out of town emergency or switch locally, never saw them swiped. Once I asked just to see how it worked, they had to blow the dust off. Maybe the big city boys and girls see it getting used more often, but out here, it's a ...

Puppy Shot Intervals
Like anything else in life and especially dogs, there are a thousand ways to skin a cat. I personally know breeders and vets who's opinions vary on this topic. I've also had pups that were given their shots at 5/7/9. Picked the pup up at 7weeks and gave them the last shots myself. I've also had pups...
