Got to judge a dog (call name Art) from one of Cortney's breedings on Saturday and he was a real nice running dog. Had a nice NA test.

Re: Pressuring a Pup

Getting back to the original question, I know many people in the dog game and have never heard of a dog shutting down at three years of age due to early age pressure. I have seen dogs shut down due to pressure but not years after.

Re: Dog Names That Rhyme With "Whoa"

My dog's name is Otis and he has no problem distinguishing his name from whoa. I agree with the previous post, it's all in how you say it.

Neutering will not solve this problem. I have owned several fixed males and all of them marked over other dogs.

Hello all,

I need a little help looking for a reputable breeder of pointing English Labs for a friend of mine. An advise or direction would be appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Well, Here she is....

He is not a litter mate just a brother. His name is Keljers Otis and he will be 3 in April. I also do NAVHDA testing and have done his NA and UT tests and he has qualified for the 2009 Invitational. He has a very high prey drive (little bit of sharpness) but has the desire to please (very biddable) ...

Re: Wirehair Pointing Griffons, New to Board, Hello

I use my Griff for both water fowl and upland and he does fine with both. As mentioned earlier he doesn't crash the water like a Lab or the field like a short hair but that's how he was made.
