Looking at an old 20ga o/u that has fixed skeet chokes. Will this still work on quail hunting over pointing dogs?

Just getting used to this new set up and it's taking me a while. Quick question on the collar, is there a way to tell battery life left on the tt-15 collar? Very interested in this thread as it is about time to retire the old Innotek 1600 Track N Train. Have seen a new TEK 1.0 listed for $499. Curious if the TEK 2.0 and the Garmin, both of which are $799, are worth the extra coin.

I am of the opinion that as long as a dog has room to climb in, turn around and lay down, he has plenty of room. Living in TN, I travel further than I used to with the dogs. They make the trip from TN to KS just fine. I try not to go more than 4 hrs before I let them out to stretch.

The biggest GSP I had was about 65lbs and was a big framed dog. The holes in my trailer are 24"x24"x24". The holes in my 4 hole box for the back of my truck are 30"x15"x24" tall. I could probably get by with the boxes only being 20" tall too. The big dog fit comfortably in both. Dogs curl up with th...

A lot of the big time players in the GSP trial world do a go job of breeding their CH females to the best males available (whether it be in house or not), and then keeping pups in their training /trialing program generation after generation. A couple examples come to mind: 1) Blue Dawn Kennels is th...
