Unless you shoot in a 28ga league, go with the 20ga. You will be much happier and save a lot on shells. I got the itch for one several years ago, and wasted money on a 28ga. It was not any lighter and not any more of a pleasure to shoot than my comparable 20ga.

Had the pointer I got from sjkennels here on the forum out today. His yard work pretty well done, and he is nice on his game. Still working on retrieving and backing. Overall, I am pretty happy with him so far.

I think it is open to the public, but I am not 100% sure. I know that the base has to have the make, model and serial number of every firearm you bring on base filed with them before you hunt. I know there is a ton of ground, and everything I have seen looks really good.

Had a Tri-Star O/U 20ga. several years ago. Worked pretty well and I killed a lot of birds with it. It was rather heavy for a 20 ga. I have handled a CZ, but not shot one. They felt like really nice guns. I would guess it is worth the extra coin for the CZ. JMO
