Yes a slight difference, the wonder lead has a stopper on it to prevent the loop from moving to much and it also has a stopper on the end to prevent the lead from slipping through your hands.

Neil I checked and the first winner to sire another winner was the Setter Count Gladstone IV winner in 1896, who sired joe comming winner in 1899; lady's count gladstone winner in1900,; and sioux winner in 1901 and 1902.......The first Pointer winner to sire another winner was Commanche Frank winner...

I believe knight sired Millers miss knight who won it once and I think he sired another one two millers white cloud. Not sure but I thought another one as well I will try to look it up. I believe once she figures out that the woods/fields hold BIRDS!...you have the opposite problem):>)....try gettin her into some wild birds and see how that effects her. She may just be getting board on these long walks if your not getting her into birds!

I would not remove them at this point, Dew claws are typically removed by AKC folks much more so than AF folks, I guess due to the breed standards for the breeds, but I have had dogs with and without dewclaws. At his age I would not put him through the trouble.

Craig Thompson is who bred one of Torben's dogs...Does have fiddler on top and bottom. Not sure it's as tight on fiddler as you like but it looks good to me

Time has taught me that the more I study bird dogs the less I feel I know. Range, Style, Pups/adults. You just never know how a pup is going to turn out. To many factors to predict with 100% accuracy.

I have a friend who is a english setter fanatic, and will buy from the best breeders he can find, but he NEVER registers his dogs, He just hunts them. My pointer had a litter back in Aug, and to date only 1 of the 10 pups have been registered to my knowledge.

I have been interested in trying for them for a few years now. Here in Oregon it's a controlled hunt so you have to put in for a tag and cross your fingers. Season limit is two birds. Yep I hunt wild birds only in ID and Southeast Wa and Eastern Oregon. Good pointers can handle them, it works much nicer if there is a little snow(which is often the case in late season).

Well that is a tough break sorry to hear about your loss, I remember seeing a litter of pups that all had cherry eye years ago...The breeder was a vet and he had a male pup that was a world beater at 3 months old but that Cherry eye kept me from buying him. I probably made a mistake not doing it cuz...
