He is also on antibiotics and the blood went away after a few days meaning it is more likely an abscess. Will only know if it comes back after the neuter would definately be the tumor. Try Pine sol, I learned about it by going to a forum on getting rid of the smell and odors in barns and learned that it also controls flies. A kennel owner used the lemon and said her fly traps went from full everyday to just a few flies each day.
