Re: Chasing Ducks and Other Birds

Well said.
I was at a trial once when the dog couldn't find any planted birds- last dog on the list. She decided to head for the pond and chase the geese , (which she hadn't seen before ) on the pond. The judge was not impressed. Bad memory. :)

scammers

Just a reminder to be careful when it comes to scams. I just lost $2000.00 to a "refund scam" I used someone for 2 years to fix my computer when necessary. I got an email saying I've paid too much , and they want to refund some money.... common scam I've learned ; I was stupid. Of course they needed...

I am no professional , but it has been my experience that every bird is different to a dog. A dog might be great on quail or woodcock, but then use that dog on pheasant and it's a whole different story. Learned this the hard way in trials.

The truth is that real dog people pretty much like all dogs, and if circumstances in our lives require it, we might change breeds but we like them just as much.

Hmmm Can't believe that that is a good idea. Dogs aren't stupid; they won't believe it is a real dog - no smell etc. Is there a dog club near you?
