preventing collar rash
i just noticed my dogs neck is geting nasty ..red and scaby from the prongs on his E collar.. i know how to treat it but any idaes on how to prevent it?

the best setter that i have ever owned has that same thing going on.. the first year i would grab hold of his tail and stand him up but i said the heck with it the dog is steady and has a nose and a half.. and i could not be more happy with him .. thats his style so i let it be.. it looks like he is...

it's funny you say that live4point i justlet my 500 go and boy do i miss her i just pick up a 280e but it dont fit me as good as the 500 did

Here are the first few ingredients in nutra. Chicken meal ground rice, corn gluten meal ,tocopherals, rice brain ,rice flour. I'm lost here what makes nura better.

I was haveing a hard time keeping weight on my setter swiched feed to nutra and it worked well but 44.00 a 40.lb . I can buy joy hi energy 24-20 for 22.00 a 50.lb bag anyone use this feed.

Greg tyey are pen birds and most of the time he was relocating.but I had him trained to let me tap him on the head to release and in the begining he was prety good

YES in a way I was ham handed that pup is just to timid for the stimulation I gave him but its done now I know what not to do but I need to know how to get him back wher he was . He was great .

BEEN WORKING ON STEADY TO WING NOW FOR TWO DAYS .I USED THE E COLLAR THE FIRST FEW FLUSHES AFTER THAT HE HAS BEEN STEADY I'M GOING TO KEEP THAT UP FOR A WEEK AND THEN ADD THE SHOT.HE IS ALLREADY A GREAT GUN DOG .I JUST WANT A LITTLE MORE CONTROL AND MYBE SOME MORE STYLE THANKS GUYS

I AGREE WITH MONK 9 MONTHS IS NOT TO YOUNG I START WHOA TRAINING AT 9 WEEKS ALSO AGREE WITH MONK ABOUT WOLTERS MY YOUNGEST DOG NOW IS 15 MONTHS HAVE KILLED 135 BIRDS OVER HIM WOLTERS BOOKS WILL NEVER BE OUTDATED.
