Great advice Wildweeds. If it the tongue is high rather than level at the ball it is very easy to get into a very bad wreck because the trailer tends to control the truck under those circumstances.

Boxa -- make sure that trailer is level!

It wouldn't matter to me if the dog would "do better outside". Mine stay inside because I derive more constant value from their close presence than I would if I otherwise just used them as a tool to be stored when not in use.

I have been hunting for six days west of great Falls and north of Chester but the hunting was pretty poor. My friend and I shot a few huns but the hunting was very slow. The farmers up north said the numbers seemed down from last year. We saw two sharptails.

Was this diagnosis confirmed with an X-ray? I think it is unusual for TBs to get navicular. Quarter horse with tiny feet are more prone to this disease. The sypmtoms of contracted heels are often mistaken for navicular. The treatment for contracted heels is the oposite of the "traditional" treatment...
