I now teach stop to flush (thrown object), stop to shot, combine them and then condition the dog that if it stays in place, I will go and bring the bird to the dog..dog carries bird to truck (FF)...young dogs are intermittently allowed to run for the retrieve...keep them off center.....all done wit...

While I was out yesterday, I was picking 1-2 ticks off my legs every few minutes and before I jumped in my truck I noticed there were actually 8-9 ticks climbing on my boots/socks at the same time! I don't run a restraint collar or tags when hunting. I have my ID & contact information right on the Alpha collar. You can rivet a GDS ID tag right on the antenna guide as shown below. The only reason I ever have another collar on with the Alpha is to run a check cord. Then you can simply flip the ...

Need a Chukar - Omaha
Hi guys.
Just wondering if anyone in/around Omaha had a Chukar I could use with my pup for a couple days. I'm going to run her in her first Am Walking Derby and was hoping to mix it up (she's only been on pigeons) prior to her hitting the field....thanks!
