Excellant info Kris....

Do, or can, all vets able to run titer tests? Do you know what the cost range for something like that is? Plus, is is a seperate test for each disease alone? One for rabies, another for distemper, another for parvo etc?

Just trying to get all the facts in my head here

Feet would be another concern for me....Keep an eye on those..Our guy sometimes is pretty sore the next day after a long hunt. Especially if hes hunting in alot of snow. I doubt it would stop him from wanting to go out the next day again, but I wouldnt want him to be in pain. :(

You can get it from a vet if you like, but since you now know he has tapes, there are lots of places to get meds over the counter that will be effective, and save you money. http://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.html?PGGUID=bb4496eb-4af9-4137-9258-dd33c93e9e2d http://www.allivet.com/D-Worm-Tapeworm-p/1...

Protein does build muscle....Im a little surprised at how low the fat level is in that food, compared to the protein. During hunting season, or for a dog with high activity levels I like to see a little more fat content, at least for my dog.
No doubt its probably a good quality food, but very pricey.
