Re: GSP weight question?
While your pup may look thin realize that in growth and development not everything proceeds at the same rate. Relate it to a short pudgy 7th grader that shoots up as a freshmen and looks lanky, then as a senior muscle fills out that lankyness. Make sure they are getting a good quality food, plenty o...

I went out Saturday and Sunday in that cold weather too. Man it was cold. The birds were definitely holding nicely. By myself Saturday I shot 3 roosters and a quail. I noticed someone mentioning it was an old post but others were chiming in so I thought my .02 might benefit someone. Tracking heredity is very difficult with the number of genes, recombinations and mutations the variations are almost endless. --- Charlie

I've shot the estate shells with good results and also sellier and bellot shells (something not metioned yet) have been good also, they seem to be fairly "hot", louder and a little more kick than some other loads. By the way I shoot the same gun m1 with 28" barrel.

The first time I took my Cali to a hunt test (1st JH leg) we went for a run across the road before her brace. She gets "birdy" and works into a tall CRP strip. It wasn't a bird. Next thing I know I hear her barking, I'm hollering "here", out she comes stinking to high heaven. I was worried it would ...

SFK AND CR glad you two got things ironed out, I teach biology and thought I was going to have to jump in. Essentially you have 50-50 from the parental generation. This is not difficult to see and understand. The next easy concept would be that each pup should get 25% of each grandparents genes, not...

There is usually a double test in Yoder, Ks in October. Sunflower GSP puts one on at the same time a Brit club does. They are across the road from each other and gives you the opportunity to run 4 tests in one weekend. Quick and easy JH title. --- Charlie
