One thing that I might add. Keep in mind that in the first year, or so, it's all about growing up and training. After that it's about living with your dog.??? What I mean is you'll ultimately spend alot more time living with your dog than hunting with it. Be sure to take that into consideration. JMH...

My pup's on Pro-Plan Large Breed Puppy and only occasionally farts. Just enough that when I cut a bad one I can, usually, get away with blaming it on him. 8) :P :wink:

I have a question, what exactly is the advantage to "steady to flush/shot"? In most hunting situations isn't it an advantage to get to the bird as quickly as possible? The only GLP's I have seen were from Corashatten, very nice dogs! If I were to go with a different breed next time, I would get a GLP from this kennel. I live in Colorado, humidity is genrally low and I've never had a problem keeping guns in a "soft sided" case.
