I got one of those bleached bones without the marrow for our Airedale and had to take it away because he managed to get some pieces off and it made a sharp edge that was cutting into his gums.

Thank you for that information, Bruce. I bought ivermectin 1.87%, but have not administered it, so I will get some of the 1% and use that instead. It's good to know about the 6 months old thing, too.

Our breeder uses the 7-way vaccination and he lives near us, so that's what we used, too.

Fun. I've done it once. The gun club where I shoot only does it during the warm months. I want to try it some more this summer, though.

I shoot mostly trap, but want to start doing some skeet soon, too, and will get to try my hand at 5-stand next month.

You did it just fine. I do want to comment though on what you are calling problems. In a persons age she is like a one or two year old child. Puppies and kids do not come trained or even ready to train. Why would you expect a puppy to come when it is called when it is exploring a world it knows not...

I would say our Airedale eats at least 4 cups a day. He is about 70 pounds and he also has virtually no fat, despite getting relatively little exercise during the winter months. We feed Kirkland Signature Chicken & Rice formula.
