My dogs sleep in the garage in their crates at night. My problem is - I can't find good quality bedding that can be washed and rewashed that will last. In 2006 after months of research and looking I purchased a King setter pup (Bondhu line). She quickly won our hearts. A lot of people also use it at .1 per every 20 lbs. At that, it's still several times as much as what is used montly just for heartworms. I used to use the liquid. It was cheap, but it's a hassle and I didn't like having half a bottle left when it expired. So, (thank you Ross!) I have started using...

I use Baby Oil. Figured anything they make for babies wouldn't be poison for my pooches. Just spray a little on their ears after the hunt and on matted areas and comb em out.

Hadn't heard of the Pam idea but that sounds good as well.

Back when there were plenty of Quail in the Southeast I used to hunt a lot in the evenings. If you spot roosts then you have a general idea where the birds will be spending the night. Then it's a matter of figuring out where they feed during the afternoon and hunt between the two spots. A lot of cov...

As mentioned, the diluted way gets down to the dosage for heartworm-only prevention. The 1%, 0.1ml per 10lbs/20lbs of body mass gets much more. It's off-label, but it seems like everyone in the country with several dogs is doing it with great success. Myself, I've gone to the paste for the convenie...
