Best Bedding for Crates
My dogs sleep in the garage in their crates at night. My problem is - I can't find good quality bedding that can be washed and rewashed that will last. Bought three pads during Black Friday Feeding Frenzy and already two of the pads are torn. Anybody found the "secret dog pad" that really lasts? Tha...

Re: Tri-Tronics G3 Collars Breakage
Are you referring to the plastic tab on the side of the receiver? If so it comes from holding the strap way to the sides trying to capture the dog not just holding the collar and bring it up in to position to putting the collar on the dog I had mine for over a year and loaned use to a friend and in...

Tri-Tronics G3 Collars Breakage
I've had three Tri-Tronics G3 Collars break in the last year and a half. Just wondering if anyone else is having a similar problem? It's always close to the collar hole on the end but the break extends across the whole unit. I got the first one fixed under Warranty by TT but the second one they said...

Re: Hello , an intro and a question about King Llwellin Setters
In 2006 after months of research and looking I purchased a King setter pup (Bondhu line). She quickly won our hearts. I worked with her in the yard with a wing and worked with her in the garage on retrieving and that's all I did. She was whelped in June and I started letting her go with me and my ol...

A lot of people also use it at .1 per every 20 lbs. At that, it's still several times as much as what is used montly just for heartworms. I used to use the liquid. It was cheap, but it's a hassle and I didn't like having half a bottle left when it expired. So, (thank you Ross!) I have started using...

I use Baby Oil. Figured anything they make for babies wouldn't be poison for my pooches. Just spray a little on their ears after the hunt and on matted areas and comb em out.
Hadn't heard of the Pam idea but that sounds good as well.

Can upland game birds be deep fried and still be tender and tasty or is that too fast of a cooking method for such lean meat? I do it all the time. Back when there were plenty of Quail in the Southeast I used to hunt a lot in the evenings. If you spot roosts then you have a general idea where the birds will be spending the night. Then it's a matter of figuring out where they feed during the afternoon and hunt between the two spots. A lot of cov...

As mentioned, the diluted way gets down to the dosage for heartworm-only prevention. The 1%, 0.1ml per 10lbs/20lbs of body mass gets much more. It's off-label, but it seems like everyone in the country with several dogs is doing it with great success. Myself, I've gone to the paste for the convenie...

It all depends on how good he is at all the other stuff.
If he's a good dog with only this one exception then I believe he'll snap out of it with time and hunting experience.

And of course the pup always wants to be under my armpit.
