Re: FEELING LIKE WE FAILED JERSEY AND HER BREEDER..
You need to read the ATF laws. It's a felony for you and Cabelas. Canadians used to walk in our store and brag about being from Canada. We'd just tell them no and leave. If fact if they got mouthy, we'd just turn them in.

Ruth one thing I should mention that the article did not was that the Canadian sniper team ran out of Canadian ammo so the ammo they were using was American made, U.S. Army issue loads that were a bit hotter than what the Canadian military uses. well if they ran out of ammo at least we know t...

Anything to do with dogs is great. We need more of it. But the first post was asking about JH titles and it's worthless. If that is the only game in town I might do it, but it's not. I never bashed the SH or MH. You need to reread it. The last several puppy trials were run after the broke dog stakes in Branched Oak. Don't know where you've been. I love how the Brittany clubs close their trials to other breeds so they can quailify for their Nationals. I've been quailfied for the ...

The OP asked about JH not SH or MH, but JH. Which to me is worthless. Plain and simple. To the others how many puppy stakes have you watched. Not all of them don't have birds. Most are run on fields that have birds from other stakes, gundog and such. So you need to be informed. If a puppy stake is t...

Dogs are creatures of habit. That's how they learn . Trialing dogs are taught to take off on the whistle. You can use any cue to train a dog to come to you; the whistle is just convenient and easily heard. None of my trial dogs use a whistle to take off. Unless it's Mike, and I want him to run AA. ...

Beaver is big rolling hills of sandsage and plum thickets with some river bottom. Consider telemetry or a gps if your dog has any kinds of wheels at all. You can lose a dog at 50 yards in some places due to the terrain. Last time I hunted there I saw my female Dixie about a dozen times in four hour...

Throw the whistle away. There's too many people out there that don't know how to use one the right way. Too many varibles with other people in the field. The only time I use a whistle is to tell a scout I've got the dog or when I want a dog off the break to go All Age, or to make a dog finish strong...

During WWII the shotgun was condisered an Assult gun. The Germans were so afraid of them, they tried to get the Geneva Convention to outlaw them. They would execute anyone with a shotgun. As far as the PS90 it's a fun hard hitting little round. I still have some of the orginal armour piercing rounds.
