one more thing, I don't think it makes a difference with skket& Skeet, Skeet 1 and IC or IC and Modified. I the hunter is a good enough marksman then the bobs will fall.
Sk/Sk is not a magic combo. Nothing is more important than marksmanship.

Improve cylinder is excellent. I could not even begin to tell you the bobs I've put in the game bag with that choke.

28 Ga. ammo is pricey and can be hard to find. You are limited to small shot, like #7 1/2, #8 and #9 lead with the 28. You also are limited in choke selection as well. Most of the 28 Ga. SxS have fixed I/C-Mod chokes only. 20 Ga. ammo, on the other hand is found everywhere in lots of combinations fr...

I'm going to guess that 20 ga are made in smaller runs. The 12 is by far the most popular gauge. So they make more and probably due to the economy of scale have lower cost per unit. With a 20, they don't make as many so they have to get more $$ for them. People who want a 20 really want a 20! As far...

I have 4 shotguns, 2 each 20 & 12 ga. I have a 12 ga o/u and a 20 ga. Baikal IZH-27. I use the Baikal almost exclusively now. I was at Academy and noticed their Spartans. The 12 Ga. o/u was was $388.00 and the 20 Ga. was $466.00 or thereabouts. Same model, just different ga. I went to the new Cabela...

I have a Winchester 1200 in 12ga, a Savage 440 o/u in 12 ga, a Winchester 140 Ranger in 20 mga, and a Baikal IZH-27 in 20 ga. I love all of my shotguns, but the Baikal is my hands down favorite go to gun. I use it for dove, quail and ducks. My 20ga. Baikal kills just as well as my 12 gauges. Thats w...
