I have the final rise vest. While never needed to carry injured dog, I did put my Labrador (52 lbs) in it to test out. I found you needed a coat tucked in the pouch to not make her uncomfortable. I have been using a final rise vest for this last hunting season and personally love it. I have used many different vests and this one is the best by far.
