I have a 10 month old GSP. Do the coats on these dogs change as they get older? It seems like the dark liver in some spots is getting lighter. I’m not sure if this will happen to all of his coat or if it’s just seasonal as he might be shedding or if it could be changing colors from the sun.

I had a 11 week old GSP puppy that had some fur flake off in a really small spot on an entire liver colored head. There was not any blood at all when it happened and I would consider it very minor.
