bama Nick is a good looking dog, but he might have competition with my shorthair, Rowdy. Rowdy loves the ladies (even though this one is spayed).

Yeah Don, Holly is the one who told me about the dog and I jumped on the opportunity. You guys could be right about the weight I didn't think she looked overweight in the pic but the vet thought she was. Who knows. I'll have to see when I pick her up.

Feels like fall with the official kick off of the season a few days ago. Weather in the 50s. Overcast. Nice day for Rowdy to put in 24 miles in the grouse woods.

Headed to Montana for the first time this year. Going to pick up a puppy and make a hunt out of it so can’t really cancel at this point. Pheasants will be open by the time we make our trip out. I have had 2 shorthairs and a wirehair. Those are likely the only two breeds I will ever have. I like all working breeds of dogs, but for my purposes, those are the two that work best for me.
