Re: Dun Roven kennels
I highly recommend Dun Roven Kennels. Rich and his wife do a great job! I currently have 2 pups from them. One is 7 months old and has about 35 solid woodcock points so far this spring. Points, backs, and reteives (the dummy) all naturally. The other one is 5 months old and is pointing Pigeons and r...

Re: Tips for physical pre-season exercise?
We run the dogs off of bikes as well but I'm trying to rig up an ATV roading system for the dog. I would say that you're a bit behind if you're trying to get the dog in shape for this season - you'll need at least 3 months of conditioning for the dog to be in top form. You don't need 3 months to ge...

Re: PVC for ATV Roading Rig
I made my own. I've got $5 in the metal and probably $15 in the hardware. I went 1 1/2 secured to the bike and 1" as a outrigger. 1 1/4 does not slide in 1 1/2 I tried. I would also make the outrigger longer than 3'. I think I went 4' and 6" slides into the 1 1/2 so you have 3 1/2' sticking out. htt...

I could never feed my dogs as thier stools were really loose. Yeah, there were issues with native at one time, water under the bridge now though. So you saying they fixed this? Anyone using the sportdog TEK 1.0? Any feedback would be appreciated. I make a couple of trips each year to chase grouse in Michigan and have decided I would like a the "insurance" of having a gps collar on my dogs. My thinking is the garmin is probably a better all around collar, but for hunting in...

That head crank is all natural. I need to get a updated picture those are old pictures. Now that he is older he has his head high and the tail is 12:00 and straight as a arrow. I've got 2 dogs from Bergs and they are as nice if not nicer than anything I've ever had and I've had a few.

What do you feed during season?
Purina One is more expensive than exceed if you don't play the rebate games available. With Purnia's rebate, and the pet store rebates it is accually a little cheaper per pound than exceed. Plus as Rick stated you can find it any where.
