I think I would feed twice a day and lay the food out on a flat tray so he does have to pick at it( I know you said he's not eating fast) and away from the other dogs. I have a dog from each FB breeder in this post and would have to say the pup from Mark is the better dog in fact I have had Britts for 35 years and no pup has done what this dog has done at his age, at this pace he will be the best dog I have own by far just saying.

If your going to be in the same area hunting for a week fined the local meat locker, we have had very good luck with useing them to keep your birds frozen tell we leave. Some motel, Hotels have freezers also just ask. I have also used die ice when I can fine it out of town. Good luck hunting!!

Great looking dog! Takes me back to the 20 some years we would be hunting Quail around Red Cloud Sure liked the quail hunting down there and miss it every year for I havn't been there now for 6 or 7 years now. Thanks for nice photos!

Elie found is first wild bird today all on his own and I couldn't be more proud of him. Parker had to come in at the last min to see what he was doing and led him a hand!

Were do you plan on getting a FB? You sould look at the Two year old that is on this site in the dogs for sale,he is in Iowa and would make a good dog for you to start on because he has had birds shot over him. Just a FYI good luck

It sounds like your worried about so I would take (dog dr)up on is offer!! I would think the cysts if not getting in the way it would be fine just to leave it alone. If dog dr is to far away I myself would just let the dog be and see if it gets worse. Good luck in what you deside to do.
