How do I get dog to stop eating dead animals
My dog eats anything he finds out in the fields, kitchen scrapes, roadkill, anything. I got him a DT systems pa 300. It doesn't fase him. I'm looking at budget ecollars and am split between the dt systems pa 300 and the sportdog 350 yard trainer. I know the are both cheep collars but I wondered if anybody had any experience with either and their thoughts on them.

Snipe and rail
I've seen many of these birds walking the edges of creeks around here but that's kind of hit or miss. Does anyone know if they can be called in? maybe just as a locator?

Training programs.
My drahthaar is 11 weeks and I'm now really looking for the program I'm going to use. But, the options are quite confusing for someone who has never used any of them.
Please comment which you all use, why you use it, and what you recomend.

Re: Help with my new pup
Sorry about not enough info. He is being crate trained and some family will be with him the whole time, but I was told the person who will be hunting with him (me), should be with him as much as possible and wasn't sure if that would be to long.
