Titles and Ages.......
For those who run hun tests, as an average, what would you say you have seen for ages for earning titles at the various levels (JH, SH, MH)? I say this, with us knowing it is all dependent on the the dog and the training. I think a bit pitfall many fall into (include me), is putting a timeline out t...

Appreciate all of the kind words! I’m thinking of entering her in the Specialties at the big Madison, Wisconsin show in February. I’ll be a fish out of water. But, if you’re gonna jump, jump off a cliff. Not the couch. This dog was purchased to be a; hunting, hunt test, field trial dog. Never though...

Anyone on the boards run Conformation shows? Looking at entering my first one next month. NEVER thought about doing them. However, after all of the compliments I've received on the youngest (from people who show), I figured I would give it a shot. I'm going to be a fish out of water! :D Gia "Shark"....

Reviving this as I have been away for a looooong time. If you haven't picked up a pup yet (or for future knowledge), check out Dem Feuerhaus Gundogs in Hondo, TX. Renay knows what she is doing! I didn't know her from Adam. I was looking to add another GSP (one that I was looking to start our breedin...

It has been forever since I have posted here. I've been busy with house work, work, training dogs and life. Not to mention me contemplating a career change (so if anyone here is in the tech industry (software, cyber, web), I'd love to pick your brain). Here are a few images of some training sessions...

Where did you get them? Nice looking birds. Not getting anything out of my bids this year. A guy in Wisconsin. Things are hard to come by so I am glad I got them. I am wondering what everyone's thoughts are between the two. For a looooong time, I was a Beretta fan, but I feel as though their current models leave a bit to be desired (in terms of aesthetic appeal). About a year ago, I had a chance to handle a Caesar Guerini Magnus Light and was fairly impressed...

Not much of a challenge to shoot deer with an arrow from a modern bow. My 12 year old grand kids do it all the time. How many use a long bow or a recurve. A deer at fifty yards is nothing with a good bow. How about a spear that would be a challenge. Shooting birds with a arrow would be a challenge....

Anyone running any tournaments this Fall/Winter/Spring?
Thinking, if all goes well, I may try to run the Packerland Series. My goal, is to be ready for the US Open Pheasant Championship.
May not work out as I have planned, but its a plan/goal anyway!
