I use it for a new pup in the house. It's fun and negates the change in voice/words we often use in praise. Never found any use for it in training outside. im getting a griff everything I read is positive reinforcement from what I have read about clicker is great. at what point do you start to use ...

I had a lab and the shedding is real bad. I have done a lot of research for my next dog and I have decided to get a griffon wirehair. low shedding very smart breed and make a great family pet. Congrats on your Griff! There's a fantastic booklet that Shannon Ford (Griffonpoint) put together called "Griffon Puppy Primer" which I would highly recommend. Well you should get a program, learn it thoroughly, and follow it. Maybe join a locate training group and join. But what do you plan on hunting with your pup? Where are you located? Where are you getting your pup from? Does the breeder have any suggestions? All of these answers will help us answer ...

this is so much good information it will help me to cut down on the mistakes I will be making when I get my pup. Where will you be staying when you get here. From what I see in our area the numbers are really good for pheasant and grouse. We have lots of land open to the public. Hope you enjoy your time up here.
